Went out with a friend yesterday evening for dinner at seoul garden at marina square. Well, it was a treat from her. hehe.. It was supposedly my "belated birthday" treat! haha.. Thanks alot! I really appreciate it! =) Anyways, that was my first time ever at seoul garden.... yup, its true... yea, you can all go ahead and laugh at me... all of you muz probably be thinking that i'm an alien or something.. haha... so throughout the entire meal, she had to guide me with the whole process of getting and cooking the food... heh... thanks once again! haha...
After the meal, we walked down to esplanade and then walked on towards boat quay as we thought that a walk would help to ease the bloated feeling after our heavy meal... =)
As we walked, we were surprised to see a huge carnival like event happening at esplanade park.. it was like a 2nd chinatown.... it was full of chinese nationals who probably couldn't go back to China for the new year.... now, i'm not being racist or anything here, but i think they are extremely rowdy and rough... there was barely enough space for me and my friend to move through.... i was quite worried for her as well as the crowd was pushing and shoving everybody in their path... all i could do was try to shield her from the crowd as we made our way through... haiz, sometimes i juz wonder whether its in their culture or are they simply ignorant of the world around them... oh wells, no use getting mad over such things. what matters is that nobody got hurt =)

anyways, after all the walking, we drove to ntu where we got lost for awhile.. ok ok... I got lost for awhile... haha... yea, i'm still not used to the roads in singapore yet.. But it was all in the name of exploration and fun! hehe.. Well, I would like to say this once again, Thank you so much for the treat!! I really appreciate it! Cheers peeps!
